Workforce development programme - direct application

The Welsh Government will subsidise, at 50%, accredited training approved through the direct application route.  Businesses can secure up to £2000 to assist with their leadership and management development training and up to £500 for general training.

Eligibility

  • Private sector businesses with nine or fewer employees;
  • Investor in People (IiP) recognised organisations;
  • Businesses which do not require the support of a HRD advisor;
  • All businesses must be based in Wales;
  • The development that the applicant organisation is seeking funding for must have learning outcomes that cover units within the National Occupational Standards (NOS) for leadership and management and must be accredited
