Bring your brain to breakfast – and learn the benefits of coaching

Business leaders are being invited to a free breakfast event in Cardiff to learn about the benefits of coaching.

Business psychologist Dave Tee and Celsa Manufacturing’s leadership and development manager Bob Fleck will team up for Bring Your Brain to Breakfast on February 23 at The Village Hotel, Coryton.

The interactive meeting is part of a series run by Leadership & Management Wales, and includes group discussion, networking and breakfast - to get business leaders thinking about how leadership and management development could help their organisation.

The event, which runs from 8am to 10am, is being organised jointly with University of Glamorgan Commercial Services.

Dave Tee, who developed the Applied Psychology Consultancy Unit at the University of Glamorgan, will give an overview of coaching and what can be achieved through a coaching culture in an organisation. Bob Fleck will give a presentation on how Celsa introduced a coaching culture and the impact it had on the business.

“Coaching is increasingly recognised as bringing real benefits to businesses,” said Leadership & Management Wales director, Dr Barrie Kennard. “It can help develop your capacity to think about situations in a new and creative way by breaking free from familiar thinking and processes.
